NEW YEAR, NEW OFFICE?

The start of the year is always seen as a fresh start, and we were fortunate to have our renovations complete at the end of 2024 which meant our head office team came back to a sparkly new space!

Our CEO, Blake Prisgrove first reached out to AW Spaces in March of 2024 and ran through multiple concepts before the final design was signed off and work began.

Previously, our Petersfield head office was split across two floors which naturally created a divide between departments and therefore functional, open spaces that allowed our team to work to the best of their abilities was at the forefront of what was needed from the space.

Every detail was meticulously thought through as Blake made multiple visits to London to be fully involved in the design process from soft furnishings and wall paint to furniture and fittings with work officially beginning on the 9th September and finishing just before the end of the year on the 20th December.

We’re absolutely loving an office that allows us to work collaboratively across departments with a new hot-desk system and the introduction of break-out spaces for discussion, meetings and hosting calls.

As a business we never slow down and we needed a space that could keep up with our ambitious workforce… it’s safe to say the team are making the most of it and we’re seeing one of our busiest starts to the year ever recorded!

At SMI, we recognise that everyone works best in different ways and to accommodate that, standing desks were added to the design brief to allow our staff to choose the work setup that suits them best, promoting comfort and productivity throughout the day.

We took feedback from our employees on-board and made sure that two bookable quiet rooms were added to the floorplan for focused, productive sessions, providing a space to concentrate without distraction. 

There are still more developments in the pipeline for the space, with Planteria Group are creating a bespoke design to add privacy, and a peaceful environment to concentrate without distractions.

We can’t wait to see how our team make the most of the space this year!
