READY, STEADY… BAKE!

The SMI team love a challenge, and this Red Nose Day was no exception!
The team walked in on Monday morning to a delicious spread of home-baked goodies for SMI’s Comic Relief bake sale.
Creations ranged from ice-cream cupcakes to Oreo brownies, and themed cookies to floral showstoppers. There was certainly no shortage of options, and something for everyone’s tastes (as evidenced by the very sparse table at the end of the day!).
Special thanks go to our fantastic volunteer committee who organised the entire event. Their hard work and attention to detail made it not only a fun day but one that raised funds for a worthy cause.
We’re delighted to share that we’ve raised £303.38 for charity, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single individual who took part – whether it was spending their evening baking in their kitchens, taste-testing for our internal competition, or donating to an incredibly worthy cause.
Our next bake-off event is coming in September, and it already feels too far away!
